STeelCON - program for the design of bolted and welded steel connections
Bolted and welded steel connections design according to EC3
STeelCON analyses and designs welded and bolted connections in steel frames according to Eurocode 3. The supported connection types are multi-parametric, allowing the user to achieve the optimum design. For the more complex connections, the program has automatic optimization features. STeelCON can automatically optimize the connection either for maximum strength or optimal design. A tree of connection’s variations that meet the user’s requirements is generated. The user specifies the components that the program is allowed to use, such as stiffeners, bolt types, bolt qualities etc.
STeelCON can also be operated within the SOFiSTiK structural analysis system for the dimensioning of the connections between members in steel building frames according to EC3. The user can select the nodes (or groups of nodes) to be designed by a graphical interface. STeelCON will automatically identify the participating members and forces and assign them to the connection. Analysis data of a Steel frame from other programs can also be imported through an ASCII file.

Hello!
ReplyDeleteI have a problem with Steelcon. After i press the "solve" button to check the connection, it gives a microsoft error and closes. What should i do?

ReplyDeleteA part of the program with the name "Con2Dxf" which I beleive it converts information to dxf format for drawing details of connections in AutoCAD has a problem. When you click on the icon of this program to start it, you receive a message that says "the file mfc100.dll is missing".
Also a licensing file "license.lic" is missing which it is referred to "C:\Program Files\FIDES_2004\fides_Shared\license.lic"
Any idea how to fix these problems?

ReplyDeleteI personally download and installed it. Also I want to make not that it works as intended in my system (Win 7 64-bit)
So, I will give you simple guide line to install FIDES STeelCON 2012.
1. First download the file (FIDES.STeelCON.v2012.096-Lz0.RAR - 154MB)
2. Extract FIDES.STeelCON.v2012.096-Lz0.RAR
3. You will get a file series lzydrs01, lzydrs02,...lzydrs33
4. Then select all of them and extract
5. Then you will get an other file series linezer0.part01, linezer0.part02 etc.
6. Etract them all
7. You will get SteelconSetup.exe and folder named Lz0 which included fiflex27.dll
8. Then disconect the internet and install Steelconsetup.exe
9. Copy fiflex27.dll and pase in following directory. (C:\Program Files (x86)\FIDES_2004\fides_Shared)

DeleteI don't force anybody to view or download any of this software. If you decide to get the software from here its your own decision. I don't guarantee to work these cracked software in every bodies computer.
